Alesia's Magnolias is an indoor fair for children of all ages. With a wide range of
activity kiosks to choose from, including arts & crafts, face painting, cupcake
decorating and inflatable games - all the things that Alesia loved and more - plus
live performances and plenty of food, we know that everyone who attends will be
thoroughly entertained all day long.
More than 1,600 people (mainly young families) attended our inaugural edition on
May 15, 2011. We surpassed our goal, raising nearly $57,000. It was an especially
poignant moment for us on August 19, 2011, when we presented a check for
$16,000 to the Pediatric Cardiology Unit at the Montreal Children's Hospital for the
purchase of a heart monitoring machine. Each year, we plan to donate some of the
proceeds from Alesia's Magnolias to purchase more life saving equipment for the
Cardiology Department. That same day, we made a pledge to raise $400,000 over
the next 5 years to create a state of the art patient care room and an amazing play
area on the Cardiology Floor at the new Montreal Children's Hospital. We made an
initial donation of $40,000 to this project, so we are now $360,000 from our goal.
Our next edition of Alesia's Magnolias will be held on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 at
the Embassy Plaza in Laval. We come to you in hopes that you will want to join the
growing list of companies and individuals that are part of an event that is as special
and important as Alesia was to us.
Volunteering your time, donating some resources or sponsoring a kiosk at Alesia's Magnolias are all great ways to showcase
your products and services to a targated audience, but even more importantly, you will be showing your concern for a
very worthwhile cause.
